→  Is this an Egret or Ibis?  Some might think this
is a "white morph" Great Blue Heron found only in
South Florida.  This bird is looking for small fish
in our waterways or insects in the lawn.

Do you know the difference between Snow Egrets,
Great Egrets, Ibis and the "white morph" Great
Blue Heron?  I am not sure - but believe it may be
a Great Egret?  Egrets have straighter bills
than Ibis, lack black wingtips and have black legs.

If you love birding there are many preserves,
reserves, beaches and state parks in which to enjoy Florida wildlife.
